The Paris Rugby Sevens format is fast becoming one of the most popular sporting codes in the world, and is now ready to host the twentieth edition of their World Series.
The 2019 Men’s Paris Rugby 7s will continue with a visit to Paris from 1-2 June, and you won’t miss the available action when watching at home or streaming matches live to a mobile device.
This will be the twentieth edition of the Rugby World Sevens, and South Africa will enter as the reigning champions after besting Fiji for total points on the season by the slimmest of margins, 182-180, thanks largely to their victory in the finale at Paris and Fiji finishing fifth on that same weekend. For South Africa it was the second consecutive Rugby Sevens championship and third overall. As for team Fiji, it was a disappointing way to finish but they did take the Gold in five of the ten events, and have been a formidable side for the past seven years so look for them to be there in the mix this time out.
